Redhawk Alumni Game - (NEW!)
The annual alumni game will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2009. This year, the alumni from Naperville Central
will play the alumni from Naperville North.

Chris Charnogursky – Chris played defense for
the Redhawks while wearing jersey #14. He currently attends the Lincoln College as a Business major. Chris Springman - Chris played center and wore jersey #24.
Chris is currently studying criminal justice at College of DuPage. Brian Burns – Brian played both wing and defense for
the Redhawks while wearing jersey #34. He currently attends the University of
Iowa. Caleb Rowe - Caleb was a forward for the Redhawks
all four years, while wearing jersey #89. Caleb is currently a freshman at ISU
majoring in history. After graduation, he plans to teach high school. Jim Andreoni – Jim played four years as both a
forward and a defenseman for the Redhawks while wearing jersey #48. Graduating
from NCHS in 2007, Jim attends Illinois State University. He is studying
business management, with a concentration in Accounting and Finance. He plays
club hockey ISU. Tom Clarke - Wearing jersey #6,Tom played left wing
all four years. He is currently studying Construction Management. Drew Flack – Drew played as a forward for the
Redhawks for four years while wearing jersey #17. He is currently attending
Illinois State University as a sophomore majoring in Special Education. Drew
plays hockey for the ISU Club team. Kevin Parker - Kevin played both forward and defense
all four years for the Redhawks while wearing jersey #8 and 44. He is a
currently sophomore at University of Illinois in the college of Liberal Arts and
Sciences. Gina Reuter – Gina played three years on defense for
the Redhawks while wearing jersey #65. She also played AAA hockey with both the
Chicago Young Americans and Team Illinois. She is attending Neumann College in
Aston, PA where she majors in Criminal Justice. Gina plays for Neumann’s
varsity hockey team. Dave Schwer – Wearing jersey #9,Dave played left
wing for the Redhawks. He is currently a student at the College of DuPage. Alex Shi – Wearing jersey #50, Alex played right
wing for the Redhawks for four years. He is currently a Biology major with a
pre-med field of interest at Knox College. Since Knox does not have a hockey
team, Alex is playing Ultimate Frisbee instead. John Bareis – John played defense for the Redhawks
for four years while wearing jersey #7. He is currently attending Michigan
State University, where he is majoring in Biology. He currently plays for MSU’s
Division 2 ACHA hockey team. Alex Conkright - Alex played goaltender all four
years with the Redhawks while wearing jersey #32. He is currently attending
Purdue University where he is majoring in Management. Alex is currently playing
for Purdue’s Roller Hockey team. Sam Davitt - Sam played goalie all 4 years with the
Redhawks Hockey team while wearing jersey #20. He will graduate in May 2010 with a
degree in Computer Information Technology from Purdue University. One of Sam’s
greatest achievements was to be on the first team in NCHS history to beat New
Trier Green! Brian Hennessy - Brian was a forward all four
years he played for the Redhawks while wearing jersey #11. He is currently a
junior at Michigan State University where he is majoring in Finance. Brian is
currently playing on Michigan State’s Division II Club Team, where they won the
National Championship in 2007. Louis Johanns – Wearing jersey #8, Louis played
defense for the Redhawks for three years. He is currently a Finance major at
Southern Illinois University. He played baseball for the SIU Salukis for two
years. Louis will be graduating in May 2010 with a degree in Finance. Erik Larson – Erik played defense for the Redhawks
for all four years while at NCHS while wearing jersey #49. He recently
graduated with an Associate Degree from Lincoln College and is continuing his
studies at the College of DuPage. He plays men’s league hockey. Matthew Lee - Matthew played all four years for the
Redhawks at forward and defense while wearing jersey #61. He is currently in his
second season playing club hockey at Illinois State University playing left
wing. Matthew is currently a junior at Illinois State University majoring in
Information Systems with a minor in Business Administration Benjamin Mittal - Ben played for the Redhawks hockey
team for 4 years as a goalie while wearing jersey #31. He is currently a junior
at the University of Iowa where he is majoring in business. He is still finding
time to play hockey in a local men’s league. Michael Placko - Michael is currently a junior at
Marquette University majoring in communications. He
played forward for the Redhawks Hockey Association for all four years while
wearing jersey #25. Adam Wilke - Adam is currently attending Michigan
State University while majoring in Finance. Adam played both offense and defense
for the Redhawks all four years of high school while wearing jersey #97. He
previously played hockey for the MSU Division II ACHA team. Andreas Gistis - – Andreas played center while with the Redhawks while wearing jersey #84. He is attending school and plays in men’s leagues. Tim Matthews - Tim was on defense for the Redhawks for four years
while wearing jersey #14. He is currently attending Illinois State University. Jason Lorenz – Wearing jersey #68, Brian was a forward with the Redhawks for four years. He is attending the College of DuPage and plays in a men’s league. Brett Mittal -Wearing jersey #77, Brett played for the Redhawks for 4 years as a forward. He is currently attending Northern Illinois University as a junior majoring in Business. 2004 AlumniBrett Anderson – Brett played center for the Redhawks for four years while wearing jersey #9. He currently attends Illinois State University with a double major in Accounting and Finance. He will graduate in 2009 and then sit for the CPA exam. Brett played for the ISU Redbirds his junior year and now participates in a men’s hockey league. Mark Burns – Wearing jersey #36, Mark played wing for three years with the Redhawks. He graduated from the Business School at the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2008, and is currently employed as a Financial Analyst at The Onion. He played intramural hockey at UW for four years and coached PeeWee hockey with the West Madison Polar Caps for three years. Ryan Daly – Ryan was a defenseman with the NCHS hockey team for four years while wearing jersey #92. He is attending Columbia College and working toward a BFA in Graphic Design. He also works for the Wrigley Field Ground Crew. Chris Malik – Chris played four years as a wing with the Redhawks while wearing jersey #10. He attended Robert Morris College where he played for both their Division II and Division I ACHA hockey teams. He is currently pursuing paramedic / EMT certification through the College of DuPage. Mark Mullally – Mark played on defense for four years with the Redhawks while wearing jersey #18. After high school, he played Juniors with the Cleveland Lumberjacks of the CSHL. Mark is currently going to the University of Illinois – Chicago, majoring in business. Jim Parker - Jim graduated from U of I in May, 2008. Jim was commissioned into the Navy in May, 2008, married Katie Teufel in July, 2008 and is currently attending Navy flight school in Pensicola, Florida. Jim wore #44. 2003 AlumniPatrick Tumilty – Pat played left wing for the Redhawks. He also played Junior A hockey with the Springfield Junior Blues and Division I baseball at the University of Evansville. Pat is currently a Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. 2002 AlumniKeith Manchester – Keith played four years with the NCHS hockey team as a center. He is currently working as a mental health counselor at Chicago Lakeshore Hospital. Keith plays men’s league hockey.Justin Wait – Justin played four years with the Redhawks as a forward while wearing jersey #22. He also played club hockey at Illinois State for one year. He currently works for C. H. Robinson.2001 AlumniBrian Cavanagh – Brian was a center with the Redhawks for four years and wore jersey #23. he is currently employed at an advertising agency in Chicago. He has been a coach with the Redhawks for the last four seasons. Eddie Floodberg – Eddie played for four years with the Redhawks as a center. He graduated from Purdue University in 2005 with a degree in business Management. He is currently working for Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc. an insurance consulting and risk management firm. In the summer of 2008 he married his wife Kyla and they purchased a home in Naperville. Eddie is playing hockey in a men’s league out of the Edge Ice Arena. Brandon Lewandowski – Brandon was a center while playing with the Redhawks. He played for the Chicago Mission AAA hockey club before retiring to men’s league hockey. He was employed as a bartender at his family’s business … Downey’s Har-Hig on Chicago’s north side. Matthew Mittal - Matt was a forward for the Redhawks all four years at NCHS. He graduated from Western Michigan University where he majored in Business. Matt now works for the Tribune Company. Michael Mullally – Michael was a goalie for the Redhawks for four years. He is currently a coach for the Redhawks JV team. 2000 AlumniAnthony DeMaria – Anthony played wing for the Redhawks for four years while wearing jersey #92. After high school, he played four years of ACHA Davison II hockey while attending Purdue University. He served as team captain for three years and received the Southeast All American Award his junior year. He is currently working for Medical Staffing Network in Warrenville, IL. His wife Kelly and new daughter live in Aurora. He continues to play hockey in men’s leagues, and has coached at NCHS (both varsity and junior varsity) for four years. Paul Peseski - Paul was captain of the 2000 State Final Varsity team that finished the season with a 38-10-7 record. Paul skated all 4 years for the Redhawks earning All-State honors and making Team Illinois for the Chicago Showcase tournament during his senior year. Paul spent his first 2 years of college at Western Michigan transferring to Arizona State University where he played for ASU's Division II Club hockey team for 3 years achieving the MVP award in 2003 and selected to the all national team in 2004. Paul graduated from ASU with a criminal justice degree and is presently pursuing a law degree at Michigan State University. Eric Sadler – Eric was a forward with the Redhawks while wearing jersey #18. Post high school, he played one year of Junior B hockey with the Chicago Rush and one year of college hockey with the Illinois State University Redbirds. Eric is currently a 6th grade math teacher at A. Vito Martinez Middle School in Romeoville. 1999 AlumniMike Bloome – Mike was a forward for the Redhawks for 3 years while wearing jersey #97. He currently plays for the Ice Bisons in men’s league hockey where he was named an All-Star. He is an Assistant Coach for the current Redhawks varsity hockey team … and as he says “nothing else matters”.Brett Erickson – Wearing jersey #12, Brett played defense for the Redhawks for four years. After high school, he played one year of college hockey while attending the University of Iowa. He currently works for the U. S. Postal Inspection Service.1998 AlumniBill Kostelny - Bill played defense for NCHS for four years. He is a firefighter/paramedic for the Naperville Fire Department and is a Lieutenant for the Romeoville Fire Department. He is married and is currently living in Naperville. 1997 Alumni1996 AlumniJohn Berres – John “Jeep” Berres played defense for Naperville Central and wore #15. After high school, he played hockey at the University of Colorado. He coached the Naperville North varsity squad in 2003 and the Minnetonka, MN Bantam B1 team in 2008. He is currently employed in Construction Sales in Minneapolis.1995 Alumni1994 AlumniDan Dressel – Dan was a center with The Naperville Central hockey team and wore jersey #2. Post high school, he played roller hockey at Southern Illinois. He played hockey briefly in college until suffering a career ending knee injury. After college, chuck played in numerous adult leagues. Chuck is currently semi-retired from the Data Processing industry. He has taken up golf and may be moving South in the near future where Winters aren't as long and cold.1979 AlumniDave Neuman – Dave was a goalie with the Naperville hockey team. He had an extensive hockey career post high school, playing for Bradley University (3 years), the Peoria Rivermen in the IHL (2 years), the Danville Fighting Saints in the AAHL (2 years), the Port Huron Clippers in the AAHL, the Jackson Americans in the AAHL, the Decatur Storm in the CHL, and the Springfield Kings in the CHL. He is currently employed as an Assistant Art Director for SWIBCO, Inc. in Lisle, IL.
